The Yar-Craft 2197 DC is a 21' walleye fishermans dream! Yar-Craft has been building some of the finest walleye boats in the world for many years and this boat will continue that tradition. Over one year of design work has gone into this project, with numerous revisions as we fine tuned every aspect of the design.

The 2197 DC has proven to be fast, with a top speed of nearly 60 mph! Handling is said to be very good, including at the slow trolling speeds required by walleye anglers. The deck is arranged for serious fishing. Back aft is a large live

well with a divider and a drop-in bait bucket. Up forward is a casting deck with a rod locker on centerline. A cooler is to port, while a dedicated baitwell is just forward of the helm to starboard. It will feature all composite construction and a full inner liner.

The modeling was once again created by Greg McLogan at Triton Design and Development. The hull plug was carved by my friend Dave Jansen at Janseneering in Maine. Due to some scheduling conflicts, the deck plug and molds were built by Marine Concepts in Cape Coral, Florida.

This model, as well as the rest of the Yar-Craft line, is being built in their new state-of-the-art factory in Wausau, Wisconsin.
