You can see the puzzle joints in the frames to locate everything. The Kitty Hawk 26 is too wide to get the frames out of one sheet of plywood, so most of them have a joint or two. The transom layers are staggered so that you can sand them even with the forward edges and you will have the correct bevel to meet the bottom planking. It's good to see Guy has his helper looking over the work to keep him from making any mistakes.
