Ben is gluing on what I call the stringer doublers. These are small strips added to the top of the stringers and frames that give a wider surface area for gluing the cockpit sole down. There is actually a screw up on my part visible in this picture. The frames on either end of the fuel tank compartment are supposed to be notched down to recieve an "L" shaped piece of solid wood. This is to give you solid wood to screw down the soft patch above the tank. I have made a note of it and will fix the patterns for the next boat. Unfortunately, Ben (and Mike!) will have to cut the frames down himself.
